I was amazed how well the Slack channels worked as a "hallway track"! There were so many great discussions. Being part of all of them in a physical conference isn't possible, but with Slack I could catch up on them all.Andre, Participant, LAx 2020

What our participants said
I found collaborative sessions more enjoyable than just listening to a presentation. I learned more of the soft skills that I can work on and improve during work activities. A significant amount of hard work goes into 1) organising and managing the event and 2) building and presenting the material - thank youAndy, Participant, LAx 2020
The talks were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable. Fantastic job organising!Anonymous, Participant, LAx 2020
I enjoyed the diversity of the speakers, and the positive calls to action to improve our world through what we do.Anonymous, Participant, LAx 2020
+ flexibility of being able to walk about whilst listening and deal with family, the speed of interactions and feedback. The amazing presentations and speakers (enabled by very slick conference organisation). - Dealing with family so it was less immersive than a physical conference where you are removed
Thank you! - A great amount of organisation and logistics clearly went in to make this the conference it was - I loved I could participate without travelling and I could attend as an individual and not feel excluded but connected to like minded humans. Connected.... it felt connected with the workshops and breakout rooms (it took a lot to switch on my camera and connect but my courage was worth it for the reward of connecting)Anonymous, Participant, LAx 2020
Really fun, great speakers, good humans there, really well organised. Loved the site map! I also loved being able to do the talk live instead of having to record the talk. Thank you so much for giving this option. Thanks so much for your hard work, I'll definitely be signing up to the next one!Anonymous, Participant, LAx 2020
I liked the way it was scheduled with adequate time to recharge between talks. That made it much easier to focus and get the most out of them.Anonymous, Participant, LAx 2021
Deep topics, big variety, great atmosphereJohannes, Participant, LAx 2020
Diversity of speakers. It was so good to see more under-represented groups speaking. The experience was fun and informative. Thanks for making this happen! Great work!Lyndsay, Participant, LAx 2020
The programme and attendees were perfect. I learned a lot which I can apply to future work, studies and life in general. In addition, the wonder of the alpacas! - discovering a world you don't know much about shown by a professional.Ricky Callaghan, Participant, LAx 2020
